Coaching with Tarot

Sometimes the secret to getting unstuck is to give yourself room to play

I offer a coaching package (3 months, 2 sessions per month) built entirely around tarot. You bring a career question or challenge you’re facing. We’ll pull cards together each session, and you’ll get to play with new possibilities.

Why tarot?

Tarot is a rich storytelling tool – 78 cards that speak to the range of human experience. Storytelling is what we do as humans. Our thoughts and beliefs are stories. Our emotions carry stories with them. “I’m stuck” is a story. Why not tell a different one? Tarot gives you plenty of inspiration. 

How does this work in a coaching context?

I’m not reading the cards for you. We’re not using the cards to predict your future. Think of the cards as prompts – for new questions, new answers, new ways of seeing your current situation. My role as coach is the same whether we’re using tarot cards or not. I’m here to hold a space for you to explore. I’ll share my reflections, ask you thoughtful questions, and affirm and challenge you. With tarot, we’re adding a tool that can spark playfulness and creativity.  

Do I need to have any familiarity with tarot?

Not at all. Tarot in a coaching context is all about giving you space to connect more fully with your intuition (which, by the way, is exactly what good coaching does!). There’s no right or wrong way to read the cards - whatever stands out to you is relevant. So, it’s a great practice regardless of your experience with tarot. All you need is a spirit of openness and curiosity.
